Today is our pre-settlement day. We are just 1 hr 13 mins (or so) from our appointment with our PM. I'm excited to see the clean house, however my excitement is tempered by the fact that we still don't know if we're on for closing tomorrow or not.
At this point, I just wish someone would tell me with certainty one way or the other. I wouldn't be quite as upset about it if I just knew there was a definite date. I hate being in limbo. Some friends invited us to hang out this weekend, and we had to tell them we weren't sure if we were moving or not this weekend. Rather frustrating. At least I have a decent amount of vacation left.
Here's hoping.
They certainly like to wait until the last moment to tell you whether or not you are closing on time... I remember that frustration! Hang in there... it's almost over!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't rely on them telling you. I had to begin contacting all parties involved to get them synced and working together. I don't think it will hurt to make a few phones calls to see where everyone is at. I think its a totally reasonable expectation to be given a stinkin closing date! :P But of course you arleady know how I feel about this subject. Hang in there, it will happen. And speaking from experience, I know things like that won't make you feel better, but hopefully its helpful coming from someone living the nightmare.
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing, Cami! I was making phones calls consistently and I even called the scheduling coordinator to see if we were on the schedule and if not, what available time slots were available so that we could inform the LP & LO!!
DeleteThat's crazy that you still don't know for sure. Good luck! I hope everything goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteSorry this last minute craziness is interfering with your excitement. Best of luck to you. Hope you were able to enjoy the "grand tour" of your complete, clean home that's waiting for you.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!! I hope everything goes smoothly and quickly!!
ReplyDeleteThe craziness will be over soon, hang in there a little longer. Good Luck!
